If you’re looking for a great way prepare for all three exams, please consider Vasthi Cheddar’s incredible courses – IDQSimplified. These courses helped me prepare for (and pass) all three exams in just under a year. Her courses were just the structure I needed to pace myself with studying in the midst of a busy career. The variety of videos, IDRM assigned reading, quizzes, practice exams, and so many other outside videos and resources she shared really helped solidify all the content. I needed this as a primarily visual/kinesthetic learner. In addition to her course I had PPI IDFX/IDPX flashcards/mock exams and a few resource books, but ended up just referencing the online building code more than anything. Though I considered it, I did not subscribe to QPractice at any point. All the best to you as you pursue certification. It’s challenging and I’m cheering you on! Vasthi is excellent! She is so hands on with each student. Most of her materials are based on the challenging areas of the test. She doesn’t waste a lot of time on the areas that are minimal on the exam…..that are scored lower on the NCIDQ percentage pie chart.

The class is heavy on the codes which is so crucial if you take the exam.

She only takes on a few individuals per study session.

So if you get in a class I’d advise to get in early.

Vasthi again focuses on really specific sections that are on the test that the average person may not get or understand –

She is also good if you are struggling with something specific she will create problems to help you and actually go over them with you to make sure you get it! Even though your taking a class with several others Vasthi will also address your issues one on one.

And if you can’t pass the PRAC only – Vasthi is your instructor!!!!

I have had such a positive experience taking PX one session and PRAC the next session. If I were promoting the program one huge benefit that I don’t think most people know, is that Vasthi will answer all of your questions thoroughly and very quickly, within 24 hours and usually within a few hours. It’s a huge plus and a major advantage. Apart from live classes, exercises, and private sessions, this was one of the best ways to learn since spending my own time studying, I get answers to areas I am weak or stuck on while it is still fresh. I think the combination of live classes, module summaries, and exercises is the perfect balance. Private sessions are a huge help too, and of course the responses to any/all questions are incredible. I definitely recommend IDQSimplified. Vasthi Cheddar is amazing. Very responsive and patient when you don’t understand she would give you attention. I found the content of the classes very useful. I did not use the IDRM at all and relied solely on her class content and practice questions. I also found the live classes extremely beneficial. Helped to learn and keep to a schedule. The practice questions after the live classes helped to verify how much I had learned and to what extend I need to study. I took advantage of office hours and Vasthi relentlessly answered all my questions. I even sent her extra questions after the last office hours and she took the time to answer by email. Her patience and commitment to the students was excellent. Having tried Qpractice, Vasthi and another teacher, I would say I benefited most from Vasthi’s teaching style and responses to my questions. You get a lot of personal attention and curated easy to understand content from her. If you can afford it, she is the best of the three teaching sources I used.

Taking the three month course, being well organized with the sessions, attending each lesson helped tremendously. I really enjoyed Vasthi way of explaining everything, I was able to understand certain topics that were confusing to me as I am not English native and studied outside the US I had to learn most on my own and experience working with interior designers and a lot of the explanation she made help me understand better the topics together with the experience I have gained during my 5 years working in the US industry. only thing would be nice to maybe some topics break the session into two sessions per week. because some are very extensive.
